Crimping Ethernet cables (RJ45 connectors) is an important step in ensuring stable network connectivity. The following are detailed operation methods:
Preparation tools: A network cable, RJ45 crystal head, crimping pliers, and a wire stripper (or knife) are required.
1. Peel off the outer layer of the network cable: Use a wire stripper to peel off the outer layer of the network cable by about 2-3 centimeters, exposing 8 thin core wires inside.
2. Sort the wire sequence: Align the 8 core wires by color and arrange them according to common standards:
3. T568B standard (commonly used):
White Orange, Orange, White Green, Blue, White Blue, Green, White Brown, Brown.
T568A standard: white green, green, white orange, blue, white blue, orange, white brown, brown.
4. Straighten and trim the thread ends: Straighten the thread core and trim it with scissors to ensure that the length of each thread is consistent.
5. Insert crystal head: Insert the wire cores into the crystal head one by one in the order of arrangement, ensuring that each wire touches the metal contact point.
6. Tighten the crystal head: Use a wire clamp to press the crystal head tightly, ensuring that the wire core is in good contact with the contact point and the crystal head shell is firm.
7. Test network cable connection: Use a network cable tester to check whether the two ends of the network cable are connected, and confirm whether the line sequence and contact are correct.

Tips
Choose the correct wire sequence: T568B is the mainstream standard for both household and commercial use.
Uniform force: Apply even force during crimping to avoid loosening of the crystal head.
Protect Ethernet cable: Use a protective sheath to protect the Ethernet cable interface and extend its service life.
